It's April, FOOLS...

DISCLAIMER: I actually don't think any of my followers are fools... it just was fun to put as a title, since there is a double meaning.

So when I woke up this morning, I fully expected to see snow on the ground.  Just not as much as there actually was.  Good things it's trying to melt.  I believe snow is okay and somewhat bearable and tolerable in the winter, but not in Spring, especially not in April.  I feel like I'm going on strike or something with a sign that states "NO MORE SNOW!!" or something.  A professor of mine said the snow is just Mother Nature trying to pull a prank on us.  I sure hope he is right, and it won't snow again any time soon.  I do think it is very pretty when everything is white, but when everything is green and colorful, it is beautiful.  I absolutely love Spring, it is by far my favorite season.

Thinking about April Fools Day, memories from my childhood came flooding back.  My siblings and I had a tradition of putting salt or whatever into each other's water bottles.  We got the biggest kick out of watching them take a drink and spit it all back out.  Another time we put green food coloring in a gallon of milk and told my dad it was rotten, I don't know if he actually believed us but he was a good sport and let us have fun with it.  My mom would never let us be wasteful, so we couldn't actually ruin food.  (Which is smart of her, we probably would have had to throw alot of stuff away if that wasn't the case).  A friend in high school actually broke her leg, and no one believed her because it was April Fools when she came to school in crutches.  When she came to school the next day in a boot and with crutches, we all believed her.  I don't know if I should play any jokes on people or just let it go this year.  Maybe I will saran wrap someone's car or something.  Who knows...
