On the Trax

So today I decided to go exercise at the field house.  I threw on some sweats and my coat and was listening to my ipod while on the trax until this guy motioned he wanted to talk to me.  To be polite, I took out my headphones and he started up a converstation.  He started off the conversation by saying he was 48 years old, was on a fifth grade reading level, and asked if I graduated high school.  I told him yes, and he asked me to tutor him in reading and math at the library but I had to decline.  Then he looked at me and asked how old I am,  I said 21 years old and then he was kinda weird about it and said he was old enough to be my father.  A moment later he said he could be friends with my mom because they are probably close to the same age.  The whole conversation with him was just strange and I learned that he was partly schizophrenic, and he was interested that I am attending a Book of Mormon institute class but he cares more about the old and new testament.  He also asked me if I was rich because I wear "rich people clothes".  I was in sweatpants, so I don't know how he came up with that.  But it got me thinking that while I am not rich in how much money I have, I am certainly rich in blessings and family and friends.

I love Sundays...

I love Sundays so very much.  I love going to church and feeling God's love for me.  I love how it gets me back into what is important in life.  I also love how the Gospel is the same anywhere I attend a meeting, whether it's St. George, Salt Lake or even another country.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the truest church on the earth today and I love this gospel with all my heart.

Wow. Seriously?

So today... I don't know how to express how my day truly has been so I will just relive it so you can get the idea.
6:25am Wake up... it came way too fast.
8:05am Suppose to be in class but I was running late.  Park in visitor's parking lot since I didn't know where an E parking lot is.
8:08am Walked into class, luckily I didn't get lost and also the professor wasn't there yet.
8:50am Professor still wasn't there yet. A person is leaving, I look up and it was my cousin. We are in the same class. :) Leave class, pay $2 for parking in visitor's spot.  Go back to apartment before my 10:45am class.
10:45am Human Development Class was fantastic.  I'm excited for that one! Cell phone's battery is almost dead.
12:30pm Leave my third and final class for today.  Can't find parking lot where I parked my car (By this point I found out where an E Permit parking lot is, and did park there). Cell phone is dead.
1:30pm Still can't find where I park my car.  I'm walking forever to find it.  Decided it's hopeless to keep looking without a map or functioning cellphone.  Walk back to Union building to use their computers to find map of parking lots.
1:45ishpm Finally find Car!! Feet are killing me and I drive back to my apartment. Eat lunch and recharge my phone and watch A Walk to Remember.
4:34pm Get phone call.  Talk to guy that says I no longer have a second interview at a bakery for a job since all spots have been filled. SO LAME!!
NOWpm: Can't wait til 6:45 to go to FHE. Hopefully today gets better instead of worse.
